Pre-Pool Considerations

In this video, I’ll discuss some of the important considerations you must consider before getting into the pool. The topics will range from pool accessibility, pool temperatures, incontinence and much more.

Core Talk

In this video, I’ll discuss the importance of what it means to brace your core while in the pool and why it’s important. I’ll also demonstrate how this is done with step-by-step instructions. Lastly, I’ll provide some core focused exercises that can be done in the water.

Warm-Up

In this video, I’ll discuss the importance of a warm-up before your water exercise routine. I’ll also provide a sample warm-up that will prime you for your water workout.

Stretch

In this video, I’ll show you some stretching that you can do in the water that simply isn’t possible on land. Some of these will require a foam noodle to get the most out of some of the stretches shown here.

Upper Body

In this video, I’ll show you a sample upper body routine that will target various functional movement patterns. The patterns will be mostly a push, pull, and/or press movement. All these exercises can be done with or without a water resistance device.

Lower Body

In this video, I’ll show you a sample lower body routine that will target various functional movement patterns. The patterns will be based on some variation of a squat or deadlift. All these exercises can be modified or performed with or without a water resistance device.

Floating

In this video, I’ll discuss and show you a form of exercise that requires a complex interaction of core stability with upper/lower body coordinated movements. These require a floatation device. The device can be a noodle float or a swim ring.
